Think of the Fast and the Furious movies and then think of the exact opposite of that and that pretty much accurately sums up the outcome of this would-be drag race.
Captured on dash cam footage, a Chevy Corvette C5 and a Corvette C6 waited for the light to turn green to take each other on in a suburb outside of Houston, Texas. Blame it on the driver of the C5 for having absolutely no clue how to control his vehicle and essentially ending the race as soon as it started.

The fact that the dude recording the whole thing seemed pretty much unfazed by the ending does make for a hilarious icing on the epic fail cake. We’re guessing it’ll probably be a while before these dudes attempt anything like this again.
