Brace yourselves, people. You’re into one shocker of a scientific study when it comes to men, women and sex.
According to The Sun, men are four times more likely, at a rate of 28%, to want to have sex on the first date than women. We know, no big surprise here. The study also showed that women are more likely to wait until they’ve fallen in love or gotten married before they have sex.

While being surveyed, participants were asked: “When dating someone new that you liked, generally speaking, how many dates would you want to wait before having sex with them?”
Surprisingly, 5% said they would prefer to wait until marriage before doing the deed. Which in 2017 seems to be rather high, but then again what do we know?
But if you are looking for the age group of women that are more likely to put out on the first date, look no further than 18-24 year olds, who are at nearly double the average rate at 14%. Yet again, no big surprise here.
We’re still a little uncertain as to how reliable these survey participants are, but the overall synopsis is what we’d expect. Men are more likely to give it up on the first night. What a breakthrough!
