Mad RC scientist Peter Sripol is at it again with his sometimes absurd—think the microwave-carrying airplane he once built—flying RC projects.
This time he raids his local KFC for supplies to build a remote controlled KFC bucket airplane and what could be his most imaginative creation to date.

The idea is to utilize the magnus effect (whatever that is) to make this thing fly, which it manages to do for about 15 seconds before plummeting to the ground like a brick.
After some tweaks, Sripol launched it again and actually kept in the air a lot longer this time before another crash. Maybe he should have gone for the extra crispy instead of the original recipe.
