If you’re looking for something to spice things up in the bedroom, now might be a good time to have a talk with your partner.
According to a survey that polled 400,000 members of the dating site OKCupid, 62% of women are into having rough sex, whether that consists of hair pulling, biting or even a little name calling.

Nicole Prause, Ph.D., says the reason for this is because being scratched, bitten or spanked can increase your blood pressure and heart rate in response to the pain. And when it happens during sex, the brain responds to it as if it’s excitement related to sex.
The schematics have been outlined by the participants, with 62% of them enjoying hair pulling. Other things that topped their lists of kinky behaviors were biting, being tied up and hearing derogatory words. The number of women being cool with these sort of bedroom shenanigans has actually increased by 23% from 2013.
Remember, this isn’t something you just decide to try in the bedroom. If this sounds like something you could enjoy with a partner, bring it up, discuss it and then give it the ol’ college try.
