Lebron James’ performance during the 2016 NBA Finals was superhuman. Usain Bolt’s 9.69 100 meters at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 was superhuman. Michael Jordan’s 38 points while battling the flu was super human.
Add Notre Dame senior Emmet Farnan to the list. Farnan, a former high school distance runner from Long Island, N.Y., ran a half-marathon in 1:43:42, shotgunning 13 beers along the way — one after every mile he completed.
If that’s not superhuman, nothing is. Most of us couldn’t even chug 13 beers without losing consciousness, let alone walk afterwards.
