Video of an Idaho family’s ice fishing trip went viral after their young daughter helped snag a nearly three-foot long trout.

The Lusk family initially let their toddler try to reel in the monster fish, but soon realized it was far too big and heavy, so the father took over. And as the video shows, the fish proved difficult even for him.

“At first, he didn’t know how big it was,” Lusk told KBOI 2News in a Facebook message. “He even let our daughter fight it herself in the beginning because he had no idea what was on that pole.”

On that pole was a rainbow trout 31.5 inches long, 19.75 inches wide and weighing in at 14.2 pounds. The family later posted the video to Facebook and it’s now received over one million views.
