Back in February, an Angolan fisherman named Sergio Reis got his dream catch, hauling in a “grander” Atlantic blue marlin that weighed in at a whopping 1,095 pounds.

It’s a truly remarkable sight in itself. Look how that damn marlin dwarfs those humans.

But the fisherman and those flocking to the scene were in for a surprise inside of the marlin while cleaning it.

A sailfish that was gulped down and mostly decomposed emerged.

This is what it would look like if it wasn’t, you know, killed.

While these fish aren’t nearly as large as a “grander” marlin, they aren’t small potatoes either.

According to the International Game Fish Association, the record for an Atlantic sailfish is 142 pounds and six ounces, while the Pacific sailfish weighed in at 221.

That’s a lot of fish.

Keep your eyes peeled, Billy. You could be next.
