If you’ve ever been to an Outback Steakhouse, then you know the Aussie-themed restaurant is famous for its Bloomin’ Onion, a deep-fried, hand-carved onion that packs a whopping 2,000 calories and all sorts of crispy, fried deliciousness.

But apparently, it was lacking something. So last summer, Outback decided to offer it in a variety topped with cheese fries, bacon and ranch dressing, aptly named the “Loaded Bloom” (loaded with about 500 more calories, to be exact).

This year, just in time for March Madness, Outback has decided to take the Bloomin’ Onion even one step further. The appetizer is being called the 3-Point Bloomin’ Onion, and it’s the most insane concoction we’ve heard of in quite some time. It’s as if the Bloomin’ Onion was getting boring, and sprucing it up with loaded cheese fires wasn’t enough. So now, not only does it come as a deep-fried onion, it’s covered in loaded cheese fries, and just for good measure, they’ve decided to top it off with some steak. What started off as a 2,000 calorie onion has now easily surpassed 3,000 calories with all the extra fixings.

The 3-Point Bloomin’ Onion will be available beginning March 15, and we can’t wait to give it a try, but we might schedule an appointment with our cardiologist ahead of time.
