Over the past decade or so, fast food chain Carl’s Jr. has made quite the name for itself with its over-the-top burgers and, even more importantly, its ridiculously sexy commercials. The ads have featured a who’s who of Hollywood hotties and have been nothing short of amazing. But apparently that’s all coming to an end.

In an attempt to get back to its roots, the parent company Hardee’s has a new marketing scheme up its sleeve to get back to the days of being “pioneers of the great American burger.”
The new campaign spoofing the chain’s sexy past consists of a fake CEO named Carl Hardee Sr., who comes storming in to take back the family business from his irresponsible son.
Apparently, it’s time to say goodbye to women in tiny bathing suits; they’re now all about grass-fed beef, hand-breaded chicken tenders, made-from-scratch biscuits and bacon on pretty much everything. After all, they’re Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s.
That doesn’t mean we won’t miss the likes of Kate Upton, Kim Kardashian, Britney Spears, Charlotte McKinney and Heidi Klum. But at least those videos are still looming around to remind us of a much simpler time when Carl’s Jr. was all about hot chicks eating massive burgers.
