I’m not sure what’s in the water cooler over at the police station next to Colorado State, but some sort of steroid cocktail seems to be the likeliest ingredient, because roid rage has to be only explanation behind this cop’s overly aggressive takedown of a college girl who certainly wasn’t posing any sort of massive threat.

Sure, sometimes when a police officer is dealing with a particularly unruly individual, especially if that person’s drunk or combative, then a slight amount of force may be necessary in order to get them to comply. This instance did not seem to be one of those times.
Using a Jiu-Jitsu move to slam someone’s unprotected face onto hard sidewalk should probably be reserved for armed criminals. But hey, try telling that to Officer Tough Guy, and he may just choke you out on the spot.
