Hiring prostitutes to simply strip their clothes off is apparently as much of a crime as hiring them to perform sex acts.
That’s what landed Elkhorn, Nebraska resident Douglas Goldsberry, 45, in the slammer when he was accused of hiring women, some allegedly 16 years of age or younger, to strip and bare their breasts on his neighbor’s porch as he watched from his kitchen window across the street.
And somehow the story gets even weirder. Goldsberry’s neighbors, a couple in their 30s with sons ages 3 and 1, say the visits from prostitutes happened around 75 times since one month after they first moved into the neighborhood back in May of 2013. The couple alleges that they were made aware of the prostitutes on their doorstep by them kicking their door or ringing the door bell.
The neighbors also claim that there were times when pimps appeared on their porch and looked into their windows, and some of the women reportedly demanded payment from the family.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, who investigated claims from the neighbors back in March, Goldsberry would masturbate from inside his home while watching the women strip.
The Sheriff’s Office also said Goldsberry met with escorts in hotel rooms for sex. He was charged with one count of felony pandering and taken to the Douglas County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond. He faces up to 4 years in prison and a $25,000 fine if convicted.
