One of the hottest Victoria’s Secret models, actually one of the hottest models in the world, didn’t always have plans on entering the world of modeling. But, fortunately for us, that’s where she ended up.
Adriana Lima grew up with the dream of becoming a nun. Yes, a nun. As we clearly know, that didn’t quite pan out for her.
The 35-year-old supermodel was raised a devout Catholic and admits that she went to church every Sunday, before elevating to runway fame. In an interview with Ocean Drive, she had this to say:
“The church is in me–I always connect. If you’re connected with the divine and always have pure intentions with everything you’re doing, you’re protected by the angels.. I’m very spiritual. I believe in nature, I believe in energy, I believe in spirits.”
We’re definitely glad she didn’t follow her original dream, because she found her true calling in life. She plans on walking in the VS Fashion Show until she’s 40 years old, which we don’t think that should be a problem at all. She could probably do it until she turns 50!
