Say what you will about the hipster haven that is Starbucks, but the coffee company is making what we think is a step in the right direction by serving up whiskey-infused coffee in its Seattle stores.

According to the company’s website, the new blend, which is called Starbucks Reserve Whiskey Barrel Aged Sulawesi, will only be available in Seattle for a limited time. It is made from an 800-pound batch of un-roasted green coffee beans that are then scooped into empty “American Oak-aged whiskey barrels.”
Customers can either buy the beans themselves or enjoy two whiskey-infused coffee drinks: a “barrel-aged con crema,” where the whiskey beans are poured over vanilla syrup and topped with a cascara sugar cold-foam topping and a barrel-aged cold brew.
Sure, this stuff won’t actually get you buzzed like an Irish coffee, but it does sound pretty damn delicious.
