What could possibly be better than free video games? Maybe free VR video games? Well, congrats: If you own an Oculus Rift, count yourself among the lucky potential recipients of this hilariously premised game.

Robo Recall is a first person shooter-style game where you, an apparently “good” (?) robot, face off against a horde of killer, “bad” robots and shoot the ever-lovin’ shit out of them. And smash them. And throw them. And basically Hulk out on them in any manner imaginable.

What’s more, the gameplay seems like it’s got all sort of ribbing robo-dialogue (“Why did they add handles?!” “Robot heaven—I see it!”), not to mention pretty damn solid graphics for, you know, something you’re getting for free.

Per Mashable:

After an appearance during the Unreal Engine keynote at the Game Developers Conference today, Epic Games released Robo Recall for free, exclusive to the virtual reality system Oculus Rift.
The game is set in the not-too-distant future where nearly everyone owns a robot. The only problem is the robots start to go bad, so it’s your job as a fellow robot to “recall” the robots through various violent means, including shooting them, bashing them and shooting them some more.

A free video game? For Oculus Rift? Where pretty much all you do is shoot and otherwise destroy legions of killer robots? Yeah, count us in.
