A fisherman in California is awaiting confirmation of his pending world record catch and boy, is it a beauty.

Nick Dulleck hauled in a spotted bass that weighed in at 11.26 pounds and 11.24 pounds. Either is enough to claim the record, which is currently held by Timothy R. Little, whose 10-pound-six-ounces bass was caught at the New Bullards Bar Reservoir in California back in 2015.

Dulleck did two weighings, one private and one public, and also took some other measurements before eventually releasing the 24.5-inch fish back into the water. That’s definitely one hell of a catch, and a classy move by Dulleck to let the behemoth back into the water. With these two videos and his witnessed weighing, he shouldn’t have any trouble hauling in that coveted record.

Awesome job, dude!
