This is a very cool scene considering all the horrifying stuff that’s transpired in England recently.
It’s just a video of some random dude blasting one of the cheesiest songs to ever hit the airwaves, the Vengaboys’ 1998 hit “I Want You in my Room,” as he drives around the city of Cheltenham northwest of London.
The cool part comes about a quarter of the way through the clip when a bunch of partiers spill onto the street as pubs let out for the night and they suddenly break into a dance party when they hear the music. Before you know it, things start to resemble a Bollywood music video with a crowd of people on the street dancing in unison to the music.
It’s nice to see Brits enjoying themselves despite being just days removed from two terror attacks. We’ll look past the super cheesy song choice.
