This giant mouse trap doesn’t only dish out some serious destruction, but also doubles as a catapult

The Backyard Scientist is back at it again, and apparently he’s been having some issues with raccoons getting into his trash.

We’ve seen this dude blow stuff up, electrocute things and slice things to shreds, but none of that compares to what he’s got up his sleeve for this latest invention. When you have issues with mice, you set mouse traps, and apparently when you have issues with raccoons, you build giant mousetraps.

His homemade coon trap is nothing short of amazing. We know it can smash watermelons and coconuts with ease, but it also doubles as a catapult. So whether it used to smash stuff, or launch stuff, it’s pretty damn cool. Once again the Backyard Scientist doesn’t disappoint.
