College kids will be college kids. And at Memorial University in Newfoundland, that apparently includes having sex in common study areas.
A custodian at the school said he walked in on two people having sex in a study room in the business building one morning, which prompted some harsh criticism from school officials.
“That space is for learning and working,” business administration school dean Wilfred Zerbe said in an interview Thursday. “And it’s not really appropriate or fair for our custodial staff to come upon that kind of behavior.”
The incident also brought forth the issue of drinking and drug use in the building. In the past, empty beer and liquor bottles have been found and a student was once reportedly seen smoking marijuana outside of the building’s entrance.
Something tells us that’s far from the worst that’s ever gone down on a college campus.
