Since the release of the Justice League trailer about a week ago, fans of the DC franchise have been waiting with baited breath to see if the likes of Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Jason Mamoa will be able to do the comic book series…justice.

But what if the cast were chosen by a completely different method than those employed by a Hollywood studio? What if a artificial played a hand in the process? Someone over at Break wondered exactly that, and with the use of facial recognition software, plugged in the actual photos of the characters from the comics, which turned out their real-life celebrity counterparts.

The results were as off-the-wall as you’d imagine, so naturally, you’re gonna want to check a few of these out.

Batman — Ryan Adams

An artsy, heart-on-his-sleeve singer/songwriter to play perhaps the most violent and repressed superhero in the history of superheroes? Sure, that makes sense.

Superman — Charlie Sheen

We’re 100% behind this idea. And like Superman, Charlie Sheen also has his Kryptonite: not winning.

Aquaman — Joe Jonas

Joe Jonas does have the ability to turn women into puddles, so maybe a superhero great at navigating water is the perfect fit for the pop star. Also, Aquaman does seem to be the most useless member of the Justice League, so Joe has that going for him.

Wonder Woman — Georgina Grenville

As a South African model, Georgina Grenville would definitely bring the sexy to the Wonder Woman role.

The Flash — Alanis Morissette

Yeah, there’s really no way to defend this one. Better luck next time, AI.

Cyborg — Young Thug

Ok, now they’re just grasping at straws.
