The Planet of the Apes franchise has been around for nearly 50 years, with the most recent installment, War for the Planet of the Apes, set to debut this summer. This is the third chapter in the rebooted blockbuster franchise that started back in 2011.
The trailer for the upcoming film has just been released and from what we’ve seen, it has the makings of the darkest and most brutal entry yet.

Woody Harrelson plays the ruthless Colonel that is leading the attack on Caesar and his apes, which is looking to culminate in one seriously epic battle. The stakes don’t get any higher than this and come July 14, we’re about to go ape shit over this movie .
