For those of you ladies (and possibly gentlemen) out there who think you have the right to twerk with reckless abandon wherever and whenever you feel like it, here’s a world of advice for you. There’s a time and a place for twerking. At the club. At a concert. Maybe the streets of New Orleans if you’re feeling especially frisky. But at a convenience store on a complete stranger who wants nothing to do with said twerking? That’s a big no-no.

Unfortunately, this piece of advice came too late for these two women who were wanted for third-degree sexual abuse by Washington, D.C. police back in October 2015 after they were caught on a gas station convenience store’s surveillance camera groping and harassing a male customer. And yes, there was twerking involved.

A couple months later, one of the women in the video, 22-year-old Ayanna Marie Knight, pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of sexual abuse and was sentenced to six months probation. And all because one man was not safe for twerk.

We hope these ladies learned their lesson, but we’re doubtful to say the least.
