Obviously, Clinton’s victory never happened, but that didn’t keep the distillery from celebrating her or releasing the Hilary-inspired whiskey, aptly named “Rodham Rye.” The founders explained that the whiskey is much more than a tribute to Clinton, According to the Washingtonian, it’s “a tribute to women in history, and a tribute to women in our everyday lives.”
The bottles will retail for $79, with five-percent of each sale being donated to Emily’s List, an organization that supports pro-choice Democratic women who are running for office. The whiskey will launch on March 25 at an event that will open with a community conversation.
